To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our Electrified Propulsion Development division an

(Sr.) Engineer Battery Circular Economy (M/F/D)

Develop battery designs optimized to be sustainable and recyclable
Identify suitable processes for recycling and remanufacturing of batteries
Develop technologies and processes for battery End of Life and support integration and development of related business models
Support homologation department to prepare our batteries for future law compliance
Join internal company and external organization standardization processes
Support development of advanced analytics to support fleet handling of electrified vehicles
Cooperating closely with other HMETC departments and R&D Center in Namyang (South Korea) and handing over all related information with precision and accurate wording

Degree in mechanical / automotive engineering or equivalent qualification
Experience in automotive battery design and control system development
Motivation and openness to deep dive into the area of electrified powertrain development and homologation topics
Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B
Excellent analytical skills as well as problem solving mentality
A very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills
Proficient in presenting, reporting and handling Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel
