How to contribute to our vision
- Analyses and develops advanced technology standards in the respective field.
- Hands over the proven technology to the products and solutions development, in order to incorporate the technology directly in the development process.
- Evaluates different concepts under technological and commercial aspects.
- Creates specifications, and designs lab and test routines.
- Plans and leads development programs, selects and coordinates resources and qualification needed for accomplishing the agreed targets.
- Plans and manages test series in controlled test environments, evaluates test results and completes respective documentation.
- May include technical account management where the technology professional is dealing as the main technical interface to a customer.
What You Need To Make a Difference
A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering (~Total experience : minimum 8 years), preferred structural analysis
- At least 5 years of relevant experience (e.g., Turbo machinery or Heavy Machinery) with specialization in welding
- Designing wind turbine components to meet the design requirements such as functionality, robustness, cost effectiveness etc.,
- Design for manufacturing, assembly, performance, and service requirements
- Strong working knowledge of steel manufacturing methods, as welding, cutting, drilling, and bending
- Strong understanding required on Eurocode 3 (EN 1993-1-8, EN 1993-1-9 and EN 1993-1-10) and IIW/ DNV guideline
- Strong analytical and numerical calculation understanding required, and can train team members.
- Strong understanding required for EN 1090-2, and attached ISO standards.
- Strong quality insurance from calculation towards manufacturing requirements, understanding of alignment between Eurocode 3 and manufacturing standards.
- Strong understanding on welding symbols based on ISO 2553, system A.
- Strong skills in analyze and give feedback on steel design, toward manufacturing
- Reviewing supplier documentation as WPS/WPQR, NDT method and FAI.
- Understanding NDT method and difference between them.
- Working on NX/TC, office and Ansys required
- Experience in leading projects and running virtual multi-functional teams
- IWE certification preferred.
