How to contribute to our vision
The Senior Operations Coordinator (SOC) will be reporting to the Head of Operational Planning & Coordination and will be a member of Germany Offshore Service organization. The main responsibility is the strategic development and harmonization of all planning and coordination related activities within Germany Offshore. Working location will be predominantly in Hamburg BTC, Bremerhaven, Poland or Turkey with potential visits on an offshore or an island based operational site.
Amongst the tasks of the Senior Operations Coordinator:
- Overall functional responsible for a small team of (Advanced) Operations Coordinators to coordinate the daily planning work at multiple sites. The SOC is functionally supporting the Advanced Operations Coordinators and making decisions regarding the operational coordination on site. The SOC is the main contact for the Site Operations Managers regarding coordination of their sites.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new starters to coordination team.
- Act as knowledge carrier for coordination tasks. Responsible for a smooth coordination of daily operations on multiple sites.
- Create planned maintenance activities in Enterprise-Resource-Planning System (SAP SRP). Responsible for campaign and medium term planning and preparation, actively supporting the allocated AOCs in these tasks.
- Support strategy development with focus on logistics and resources.
- Responsible for uniform execution and seeking improvement opportunities for coordination processes on all sites, regular alignment with Senior Operations Coordinator colleagues to identify further standardization potential.
- Identify needed IT improvements and follow up with responsible departments.
- Execute additional improvement projects for the sites or the Joint Operations Center (JOC) that are not part of daily operations - may include site visits.
- Supports Head of JOC in decision making.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Renewable Energy or similar.
- Comprehensive IT user skills (MS Office and Windows 365).
- Awareness on quality and safety topics.
- Very high level of communication skills.
- Independent and responsible way of working.
- Knowledge in SAP SRP.
- Experience in the wind industry as well as planning activities. Experience in the German / SGRE Offshore Operations processes is a plus.
- Line management experience is a plus.
- High commitment.
- Fluent in English (at least C1 level), preferably also in German (minimum B2 level).
- Ability to work partially on Offshore rotations.
