Roles & responsibilities
- Development and exercising of the transient process and controls model of advanced carbon capture technology;
- Evaluation of hardware design and vendor data for optimized energetics of the system;
- Adaptations of the model to accommodate novel energy integration concepts.
Requirements/qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy technology or equivalent knowledge or experience;
- Sound knowledge of mass, momentum and heat transfer mechanisms and broadly understood thermodynamics;
- Experience in at least one process simulation platform e.g. Aspen Plus, Hysys, Ebsilon, Apros;
- Experience in dynamic simulations and controls is a plus;
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
