Position Overview
Invenergy is looking for an experienced content strategist to create an industry leading digital experience for our customers, communities, and employees. This role will report to the SVP, Corporate affairs and design and execute campaigns across Invenergy’s digital content channels including our website, social media feeds and employee communications application. The on-site role is at Invenergy's headquarters in downtown Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities:
Develop and own the strategy across the end-to-end content lifecycle that drives towards efficiency/reuse and insight driven content optimization.
Lead the content management strategy with a campaign mindset, including capabilities to create, distribute and maintain creative assets.
Develop and execute campaigns for a wide range of audiences (e.g. rural landowners, federal regulators, investors, potential recruits) while increasing Invenergy’s corporate reputation.
Support consistent and efficient creation, management and sharing of content assets with appropriate quality, accessibility, and efficient collaboration between marketing, external and internal communications teams.
Promote Invenergy’s brand and support the company’s strategic priorities.
Maintain an understanding of Invenergy’s content library and ensure we’re selecting the right channels, content, and messages to achieve company objectives.
Act as expert in the latest digital content management trends.
Analyze user engagement metrics to determine effectiveness of content.
Work with business units to understand specific business goals.
Required Skills:
10+ years of proven experience in content strategy with the ability to build and execute programs effectively and efficiently and monitor and measure outcomes.
Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.
Bachelor's degree in communications, Media Studies, Public Relations, or similar field.
Creativity and production experience a plus.
Management of video, print, digital and other assets.
Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization.
Excellent collaboration, storytelling and communication skills with experience working cross functionally and demonstrated ability to build rapport and influence across teams.
Strong project management and prioritization skills to effectively manage and drive multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
