The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Integrated Productions, you will oversee all aspects of each assigned production, and be the most senior production leader on-location at a broadcast. You will be accountable to lead team meetings, oversee communication, location sourcing, negotiation and selection, manage individual show budgets, secure legal contracts and agreements, and lead the team on crew selection, travel and production. You will work with multiple partners (internal and external to QVC) to develop and communicate the objectives of each production, lead the team on location, and is responsible for overall production value and success of multi-platform projects. You will serve as the single point of accountability for Production with all other partners of the business. You will be accountable for concept development, research, ideating, direction-setting, results-analysis, and future recommendations for all remotes and other assigned non-remote projects.

Your Impact
- Manage a cross functional team in seamless productions by coordinating all aspects of assigned projects. Act as lead QVC liaison for internal divisions and external contacts for each production.
- Act as primary manager of on-air execution to ensure the program runs smoothly to maximize visual impact, viewership, engagement and sales.
- Partner with various teams (including but not limited to Talent, Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, Social team) to explain venue details and plan for the most effective production.
- Scout, negotiate and secure locations for live remote broadcasts, confirm/finalize location agreements/contracts, determine aesthetic setting, along with camera configuration and blocking.
- Responsible for overseeing the budget for productions.
- Responsible for the supervision and professional growth and performance of the following staff: Coordinating Producer IP, Associate Producer IP, Technical Production Manager and Technical Operator IP or Senior Lighting Designer.
What You Bring
- 10+ years live television production experience is required. Remote broadcasting experience is highly desired.
- Leadership qualities are a must along with being able to lead and motivate entire production team.
- An undergraduate degree in television production or a related field is required.
- Ability to travel - The frequency of travel can vary depending on the production workload and project demands, but typically involve around 30% of working hours away from home or the standard work environment.
- The candidate must be able to adapt to different work environments and capable of troubleshooting on-site production issues to secure quality product footage and audio.
