The Project Development Coordinator position is designed to provide entry-level candidates with the cutting-edge skills and experience required to succeed anywhere in the renewable energy sector. The PD Coordinator will enhance the Company’s internal processes and operations. They will play a vital role in delivering clean energy projects on schedule and under budget through close engagement with the Project Managers of multiple projects at various stages of development. The Project Coordinator will help build the next generation of clean energy infrastructure through the following main accountabilities:
- Coordinate communication between internal teams including legal, communications, government affairs, corporate services, procurement, accounting, engineering, and others.
- Assist land acquisition efforts by identifying, requesting, organizing, and filing property owner documentation, payments, and legal agreements.
- Proofread, organize, file, and share property-owner agreements, permitting requirements, pricing, marketing, and financing documentation.
- Accurate and efficient data entry via customer management and land management tools.
- Onboard new vendors through internal programs and obtain Service Agreements from the legal department.
- Request and review purchase orders set up with the procurement team; track vendor payments.
- Create and update project maps using GIS mapping software.
- Assist with efforts to secure transmission and interconnection rights, including submitting projects to the interconnection queue.
- Conduct land, market, regulatory, permitting, and related project research.
- Assist with community outreach efforts by organizing and attending community events, wind farm, and solar park tours, landowner dinners, open houses, etc.
- Office support such as welcoming visitors/support organizing visits, coordinating in-office events (parties, all hands, internal team building events), handling supply orders, troubleshooting, cooperation with building management

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Studies in energy, public policy, business, or marketing are preferred.
- 0 – 1 year of progressively responsible project management experience in energy or a related industry.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (particularly Teams, Outlook, and OneNote).
- Ability to learn and master new software programs such as SAP, Land Management Systems, Customer Relation Management, and GIS software.
