Job Description: Act as the financial business partner to the retail business and channel organization (distributor relations) and provide key financial, economic, and analytical support. Influence and drive retail and channel commercial strategy and financial performance through business partnering, analytics, and reporting. Evaluate, analyze and report line of business gross margin performance, focusing on key trends and areas of opportunity, including gross margin analysis-of-change drivers. Evaluate, analyze, and report distributor and big box retail performance (total and individual distributor level), focusing on key performance trends, including orders and ships; distributor profitability and cost to serve; and product and market segment mix impact on gross margin. Position eligible for up to 3 days remote work per week.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in finance management, business controlling, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Evaluating, analyzing and reporting LOB gross margin performance, including AOC drivers (Volume, Price, Mix, Productivity, Inflation, and Foreign Exchange); Analyzing and reporting key performance trends, including Orders and Ships (Gross Sales, Returns, and Rebates) and Distributor Profitability & Cost to Serve); Financial controlling in a manufacturing environment; and Using Microsoft Excel to perform detailed analysis and reporting, including charting and manipulating large volumes of data resulting from various sources into meaningful and dependable managerial information.
