Strategic national sales position supporting ASCO’s Key Engine Generator Distributor (EGD) accounts and is accountable for further developing this unique partnership to promote the sale of ASCO’s full portfolio of solutions while secondarily exploring opportunities to promote additional Schneider Electric products & solutions. Requires developing a strategic vision while tactically executing these business plans with the partner’s broader organization.
- Lead and coordinate overall business development and sales efforts for the full ASCO portfolio of products, and solutions with our most important channel partners, EGD’s.
- Become a valued, long-term strategic partner with the EGD leadership team, decision makers, sales team and broader organization across multiple locations/branches. Negotiate discrepancies between partner’s expectations and ASCO’s. Collaborate and advocate on behalf of partner’s business needs. Establish strong business relationships with EGD executive/sales leadership, decision makers, sales and their support teams across multiple branches/locations.
- Establish strong relationships with the internal ASCO sales and support teams to help drive and execute your objectives & initiatives. Primary products and solutions include, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Power Control Systems (PCS), Digital Power (business unit) including, but not limited to CMPA and/or Ecostruxure.
- Secondarily, work to identify opportunities across other Schneider business units, including Square D, Digital Buildings, Secure Power, Microgrids, Industrial Automation and software.
- Formulates, communicates, implements, and evaluates strategic and tactical sales plans in conjunction with internal support teams. Monitors and communicates sales performance. Provides coaching internally and externally to ensure successful execution of plans.
- Lead and engage with sales organizations and operations to align with partner’s growth plan and customer pursuit strategies.
- Is a trained promoter of our digital tools, channel programs, and drives EGD’s to meet utilization and growth ambitions. Regularly shares feedback with the EGD and ASCO leadership on achievement of digital/program KPI’s.
- Strengthen business and develop creative approaches to innovate and streamline our partnerships, supply chains, processes, and digital tools.
- Utilize lean thinking principles to continuously examine processes. Identify necessary improvements and coordinate implementation. Innovate and adopt new digital tools and software to streamline and digitize processes between organizations.
- 4 Year Degree or Equivalent
- 5-10 Years technically related sales experience
- Results driven and self-motivated
- Influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
- Exceptional communication skills
- The successful candidate will be a self-confident and skilled communicator who has demonstrated the ability to build relationships and influence others across functional boundaries.
- Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with customers and partners.
- Proven ability and understanding to work cross functionally.
- Business and financial savvy; Financial acumen
- Energetic, highly motivated, with an inquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success.
- Location: Remote (Eastern US)
