Primary responsibility for the leadership of our front-line Service Delivery Team personnel. Oversee the development and implementation of our innovative solutions, as well as results for Services business (BAS, Security, and Mechanical) in the marketplace.
The successful candidate will be a high performing, highly organized business professional responsible for leading a team of Service professionals serving the Washing DC & Baltimore Metro Areas.
The successful candidate will embrace a servant leader and consultative execution approach as we position to be “the building professionals” and the trusted adviser to our customers and the market.
This position requires active involvement in the building owner community through professional organizations and networking within the communities throughout the market. The successful candidate will involve themselves in the local communities (business development) to build and develop relationships that will benefit the SE and the Mid Atlantic Branch.
The primary areas of focus for this position are:
- The development of the Buildings Services Team, empowering and supporting our service professionals in the delivery of our solutions and to capture greater market share and help build the whole of the business.
- Direct Support of our captured Customers, freeing up energy for our sales teammates to allow them to pursue and capture more “new” customers and accounts.
- Direct Account Management, partnering with our Sales professionals to deliver on our commitments
The SM position requires active involvement in the management of existing accounts as well as sales support in the pursuit and capture of new accounts. This includes direct customer interface and relationship management, solutions development, scope, and costing development for existing accounts.
The Service Manager will, serve as a member of the Branch Leadership Team and will be an active participant in the development and implementation of business strategies across all aspects of the business. This is a “Key” Leadership position within the branch and includes continuous collaboration with SMs across the country and the support teams who help us deliver.
What will you do?
- Strategy development with local Senior Leadership Team, Operations Team and Sales Team to capture and retain market share
- Develop & maintain a diverse team of Service Professionals - Technicians, Field Service Supervisors, Field Service Managers and Service Project Managers to ensure we are delivering the highest value to our customers
- Cultivate strong Customer relationships through direct involvement and account management support
- Solutions Development for the accounts we serve
- Networking internally and externally
- Forecasting revenue & profitability as needed for business planning
- Budgeting operational costs for department
- Reporting on historical revenue data & trends
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Strong interpersonal skill including the ability to manage in highly charged situations with customers, teammates, team members, peers and contemporaries.
- Strong working knowledge of building systems (emphasis on BAS, Security and Mechanical)
