Aim of the job:
To coordinate and ensure that the mills and estates compliance to the safety and health standards at the
company operations are met
Main responsibilities and activities:
- To establish a safe working condition at the operating units (no fatality cases or serious injury due to occupational accidents) with proper documentation system in place
- To establish solid safety standards in the operating units that comply with the safety and health acts and regulations (no summonses or court cases)
Requirements
Basic education and training:
- Bachelor's degree in Safety or Sustainability
- 3 to 5 years experiences
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail
- Conduct yearly safety audit and regular inspections of the estates and mills and assess risks to prevent injury or damage to the company property
- Provide report findings and improvement report (related to safety) to the estates and mills
- To report and investigate to the immediate superior any serious accidents occurred, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning or diseases at the workplace

- Good knowledge and effectively communication skills
- Safety & Sustainability knowledge
- Analytical and critical thinking
- Skills in Microsoft office, outlook, power point and excel
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, integrity, self-motivated with high degree of commitment and time pressure to meet deadlines and objectives with ability to work independently
- Basic agronomic knowledge
- Experience in palm oil mill estate and mill operation
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Able to write comprehensive report
