Your role: As Senior Manager Sustainability Integration you will provide expert knowledge, strategic guidance and oversight about Circular Economy & sustainability integration for the Sustainability, Science & Technology Relations function and beyond. In this role you will utilize your project management expertise to achieve the implementation of strategic initiatives in the area of Circular Economy, Sustainability Impact Measurement of projects, products and technologies as well as integrating sustainability into R&D processes. Further you´ll manage relevant aspects such as: Set up and operations of strategic sustainability projects. This includes: project management in terms of scoping, planning, execution and progress reporting. You are accountable for timely execution of planned actions, within budget and respecting quality metrics. Identification of internal ideas, projects, issues with focus on sustainable science & innovation across businesses. Identification of and engagement with relevant internal & external stakeholder. Monitoring of trends and developments in the field of sustainable science & innovations to support the identification and benchmarking of new project ideas that are most in need. If you’re enthusiastic about creating a circular economy/sustainability environment at our company as Senior Manager Sustainability Integration we’d really like to hear from you.

 

The Sustainability, Science & Technology Relations function is on a quest to find experienced and driven professionals to join a dynamic team of specialists, who will drive both the strategy implementation and execution of new and exciting circular economy/ sustainability projects. You will be working closely together with colleagues that are professionals in a wide variety of scientific fields, project management, communication & outreach.

 

Who you are:

  • Post-graduate degree in engineering, natural sciences, bioengineering, sustainability management or similar; additional PhD or MBA is desired
  • >3 years+ extensive professional experience in the areas of Circular Economy planning and implementation
  • Experience in relationship building and negotiation of partnership agreements
  • Team player with a global mind-set and a high level of cultural awareness.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with a good sense of urgency.
  • Effective communicator able to translate complex science into actionable tasks.
  • Fluent in English and German, additional languages are a plus.
