Implements an overall Hospital Safety Management Program to comply with all TJC, CMS, NFPA, EPA, OSHA, NEC, State and local AHJs regulations and requirements to maintain a safe compliant environment. Oversees all aspects of hospital safety and reports to the EOC Committee and hospital leadership. Maintain hospital survey readiness as it relates to TJC and CMS Accreditation Surveys.

- Ensures hospital compliance with Federal, state safety laws and regulations (OSHA, SB 198, etc.)
- Completes other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Physical Demands: Employee must meet physical and mental requirements as identified by the physical activity evaluation form
Qualifications:
A. Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Courses or trade school in blueprint reading, mechanical drawing, math, and safety requirements preferred.
C. Preferred Skills and Abilities: Thorough knowledge of safety laws and regulations (OSHA, SB 198, etc.)
Pay range: $42.93 Minimum - $66.52 Maximum an hour
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
