WRA’s environmental planning team prepares environmental documents that enable planning and development projects, vital public infrastructure, habitat restoration, climate resiliency, and public access projects to proceed. We are looking for an experienced Environmental Planner to prepare CEQA and NEPA documents for a diverse mix of clients and project types. The Environmental Planner in this role will work closely with, and under the direction of a Senior Environmental Planner and/or a supervisor and other environmental planning staff. As an integral part of our team, the Environmental Planner in this role will participate in diversifying our client base and actively seeking new opportunities to build our planning practice. The Environmental Planner will collaborate with a Senior Environmental Planner and/or supervisor in the creation and execution of a strategic plan, propelling the growth of our team in both scale and services. WRA has an established internal leveling system for our staff that maps to salary bands that have been informed by market data. Our leveling system is dependent on years of relevant industry experience, education, and the level of responsibility and autonomy at which you’re expected to operate.
*The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000 depending on experience which represents 2 job levels that WRA is open to considering for this role. In your first conversation with our recruiter, we will discuss leveling and compensation with you to make sure that expectations are aligned.
