Responsible for performing all housekeeping functions at the Center. Responsible for identification and communication of maintenance and housekeeping needs, to maintain and to improve the quality of the physical plant and surroundings.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Primarily responsible for the performance of all Housekeeping tasks within the Center and related structures as detailed on the attached Environmental Services Checklist.
- Participates in the Center's Quality Improvement Program activities including identification of opportunities for cost reductions and efficiencies.
- Attends all Center meetings and educational opportunities.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Housekeeping and or maintenance experience in a health care setting preferred.
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills in order to facilitate effective interaction with a variety of health care professionals and personnel.
- Ability to work independently and to organize and prioritize work efficiently to achieve the Center's goals.

- Requires intermittent sitting, standing, walking, lifting and pushing of light to medium weight objects. May require the ability to assist with lifting of heavy objects.
