EHS Program Management: -Review and update EHS policies as necessary. -Provide EHS training to campus as required and as requested. -Work with regulators and consultants to assure campus facility compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations, including the air pollution permit, petroleum storage tank managment, wastewater discharge requirements and hazardous materials emergency planning. -Maintain records related to EHS regulatory programs. |

Duty/Responsibility | -Track developments in related regulatory and professional fields: -Participate in state and national professional organizations which identify emerging health and safety issues that are likely to impact the KSC campus. -Identify and implement best practices to address those issues appropriate to the KSC environment |

Duty/Responsibility | Provide oversight of campus academic and facility operations for EHS concerns: - Supervise student and professional staff in conducting regular inspections of safety equipment, including fire extinguishers. - Consult with campus departments on EHS questions that arise as their activities or regulations that impact those activities change |

Duty/Responsibility | -Coordinate EHS program activities with other appropriate campus departments: -Work with Human Resources to support the onboarding process. -Provide leadership for the Campus Health and Safety Committee. -Work with facility managers to identify and address regulatory impacts on campus -Provide support for response to hazmat emergencies on campus. |
