Position Summary

The Department of Biological, Chemical and Physical Sciences invites applications for a one-year full-time visiting faculty position in Environmental Science and/or Physical Science beginning August 15, 2015. Duties include teaching general education environmental science and physical science courses, including Introduction to Environmental Science and a capstone Applications in Environmental Science course for the minor. Teaching will be primarily at the Chicago Campus; some evening teaching and/or teaching at the Schaumburg Campus may be required. Opportunities for research with graduate or undergraduate students are also available. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate education and strong verbal and written communication skills.
