Example areas of desired expertise include development of advanced sensor technologies for monitoring and management of environmental systems; engineering or natural processes for mitigation of greenhouse gases or effects of climate change; and data driven approaches for waste management, pollution control, and resource recovery. The successful candidates should be able to establish interdisciplinary research and educational partnerships across campus, teach and develop courses using active, experiential, and project-based approaches, and contribute to fostering a collaborative and inclusive academic environment.
