Position: Sustainability Program Manager

Job Overview:
Infinitum is hiring a Sustainability Program Manager to lead our impact reporting efforts. Our technology is opening new pathways to net zero for hard to decarbonize sectors, and we are committed to going beyond improving operating efficiency to reducing the overall carbon footprint for the motor across the entire lifecycle. We are pioneering circularity in motor design and remanufacture and are setting the bar for the entire motor industry to follow.
As the Sustainability Program Manager, you will lead our impact reporting, influence sustainable product design and guide the company to making continuous improvements to reduce our GHG emissions. You will work closely with the Chief Sustainability Officer who oversees the sustainability vision and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define objectives and manage projects related to sustainability and ESG while driving Infinitum’s mission, vision and values
- Manage sustainability metrics, data and reporting
- Lead implementation of the ESG platform while bringing insight and subject matter expertise on ESG and sustainability trends and practices
- Support our carbon foot printing process and overall progress on net zero strategy
- Conduct lifecycle assessment (LCA) for products
- Serve as focal point for ESG requests from customers, partners and investors
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams and influence product design choices
- Develop sustainability-related marketing and sales materials (presentations, positioning, messaging)
- Establish sustainability targets (Science-Based Targets) and develop roadmap for continuous improvement
- Ensure adherence to EU and US taxonomies and ESG regulations
- Revise and manage the company's ESG policies and maintain accountability to ESG policy and roadmaps
- Develop and drive integrated sustainment initiatives, aligning tactics with strategies
- Communicate program analytics, status, plans and strategies to leadership
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3-5+ years’ experience in Program Management in a sustainability role or employed through sustainability consulting
- Strong project management skills; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar certification is preferred
- Experience with internal ESG tracking, data and policy management
- Solid knowledge of ESG reporting requirements and experience working on annual ESG impact reports
- Proven ability to analyze, prioritize, and summarize business environmental, social and governance-related risks and opportunities
- Ability to bring insight and be an SME on ESG and sustainability trends and best practices
- Ability to learn all functions of the business and build bridges between functions to further the overall goals of the organization
- Must be a strong collaborator and communicator
- Continuous improvement mindset and a result and quality driven approach
