Sales Director - Plastics & Sustainability - Base Salary to 150k/year – Tampa, FL
- Our client, a fast-growing startup in the sustainability space, is seeking a Sales Director to identify new business opportunities in the US and drive market growth.
- In this role, the Sales Director will be responsible for identifying & driving sales opportunities and closing new business throughout the US. The Sales Director will also be responsible for growing brand awareness & developing strategies to showcase product differentiation.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize Selling Efforts & Capture New Business Opportunities
- Collaborate & Execute the Commercial Strategy for the US
- Anticipate Major Market Trends & Develop Plans to Capture New Markets
- Execute Action Plans for Identified Targets
- Operate as Trusted Advisor to Customers
- Develop Robust Sales Plans & Forecasts
- Maintain Valued Relationships with Customers
- This is an Individual Contributor Position that Requires a Hunter-like sales style
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master of Science – Preferably in Chemical/Polymer/Industrial Engineering
- 10+ years of Sales Experience in Plastics, Polymers, Compounding, Molding or Related Industry
- Sound Technical Understanding of Plastic Resins, Molding Operations & Applications
- B2B Sales Experience
- Proven Success in Developing & Executing High Growth Strategies based on Market Drivers & Trends
- Ability to travel (25-50%)
Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 150k/year + bonus. Our client also offers competitive health and life benefits & 401k.
