Job Title: Environment and Sustainability Intern
Department: Quality
Summary
Supports environmental department with all issues related to sustainability and environmental compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Supports environmental department with all issues related to sustainability and environmental compliance
- Collects data and maintains environmental reports
- Conducts environmental inspections and audits
- Reviews environmental regulations and evaluates compliance
- Assists with proper waste handling, storage and labeling
- Assists with maintaining permit compliance
- Assists with developing methods, procedures and work instructions for sustainability and environmental compliance
- Coordinates and participates in environmental corrective action and sustainability continuous improvement activities
- Prepares presentations for and participates in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Team Meetings
- Assist with environmental training and awareness
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned
