2024 Summer Internships – Real Estate and Facilities
ABOUT THE PROGRAM

As an intern at Invenergy, you will have the opportunity to:
- Expand your knowledge and skills while gaining hands-on professional experience
- Engage with leaders throughout the organization and learn about the clean energy industry through weekly lunch-and-learns.
- Visit our nearby power plants: Grand Ridge Energy Center and Nelson Energy Center
- Spend a day giving back to the community with our ‘Volunteer Time Off’ program
- Have lunch with our CEO and Founder, Michael Polsky
- Attend a networking mixer to learn more about and engage with representatives from our various affinity groups (Women’s Network, LGBTQ+, Black & Brown, Veteran’s Network, & more!)
- Explore Chicago with your fellow interns
- Our program takes place from June – August lasting for 10-12 weeks
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
Real Estate & Facilities Dept provides oversight with identifying opportunities for new office space and expansion of existing space, and the managing a built environment with the purpose of improving the quality of life of people and the productivity of the core business.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date between May 2025 and May 2026.
- Majoring in a business-related discipline with a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Interest in the renewable energy or clean energy sector.
- Comfortable working in an amorphous environment.
