Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
� Manage the Transaction Team coordinating the acquisition and development of distributed-scale solar projects nationwide.
� Provide oversight guidance and direction to transaction managers relating to project and legal due diligence for acquisition and development
� Prioritize, coordinate, review, and track key development deliverables with internal teams and external legal, zoning, environmental, interconnection, and engineering consultants
� Deliver insightful project due diligence and strategic development recommendations as the need arises
� Collaborate with a diverse array of project partners, both internal and external, such as developers/sellers, construction managers, development engineers, permitting consultants, legal counsel, landowners, offtakers and community stakeholders
� Assume end-to-end accountability for solar project acquisitions and developments, commencing from term sheet execution through commencement of construction
� Participate in, and contribute to, the senior management of the company
� Conduct weekly project status meetings
� The position may oversee multiple development opportunities at the same time, each at varying stages
� Support the preparation of presentations summarizing all project characteristic and status for hand-off to construction team
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
� A minimum of 5 years' experience in solar development
� Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and accountability
� Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment
� Proven expertise in successfully negotiating and concluding transactions
� Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
� Project management, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills
� Strong work ethic and ability to self-start in a fast-paced environment
� Organized, diligent, and able to manage multiple streams of information on an ongoing basis
� Solid PowerPoint skills a plus
� Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
� Able to work from headquarters in Rockville, MD
