Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Participating and contributing to the origination, negotiation, and execution of suitable project finance transactions within the sector and geographic areas.
- Prepare material required to raise Project Financing with Lenders: Teasers, Information Memorandums, Financial Models, DD materials: technical/legal/insurance package (EPC/O&M Contracts, PPA, etc.)
- Liaise and coordinate all DD processes with advisors involved in the transaction (internal and external/lender’s advisors), coordinate the provision of information and overall supervision of their due diligence work (legal, technical, insurance, model audit, etc.) to be shared with Lenders.
- With the support of local finance/administration teams, monitoring financings closed during construction (drawdowns) and operation: main covenants compliance and manage waiver, restructurings, or refinancings.
- Develop internal/external investment memorandums and briefs, for different stakeholders.
- Work closely with partners and other stakeholders to evaluate and follow up, from a asset management perspective
- Lead cross-functional project initiatives and manage project timelines and deliverables
- Other duties as may be requested by the senior management on an ongoing business requirement basis.
Requirements:
• Min 3-5 years experience in project finance in the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Previously worked in a bank or an infra/energy company or asset management firm
• Exposure to European countries: Italy and Spain.
• Familiarity with the following technologies: Solar PV, battery storage, Wind.
• Experience negotiating Project Finance documentation
• Comfort with sophisticated Excel PF models and modeling skills in Project Finance.
• Experience coordinating DD processes, working with legal/technical/market/insurance advisors and lenders.
• Familiarity with subsidy schemes and/or PPA contracts.
• Languages: English. Spanish, Italian.
• Based in Milan.
