Over the next few years, we will be building, nurturing and activating a massive community of people across the country - our ambition is that this community of Nature Stewards will grow to be 1 million people strong.
The Revive Project Coordinator will be working across a variety of projects, actively involved in reducing threats to sensitive aquatic and coastal environments. As a Revive project Officer you will be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of project outcomes with a priority placed on safety.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys working outdoors and leading others to achieve practical results. You’ll actively execute your project plans to achieve its goals and work closely with and be supported by the Project Manager. You will coordinate project tasks and logistics and provide support within your team.
Project Coordinator, Revive
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of outcomes associated with current contract obligations. Working within the Campaign’s department, this role requires someone with experience in the fields of environmental management or conservation and with an aptitude for community engagement. As a Project Coordinator you'll translate your technical knowledge of conservation and the environment into practical action and be a strong advocate for at-scale community participation to achieve project objectives.
You’ll actively identify and engage audiences in your project and its story, and execute your project’s plans to achieve its goals. In this, you’ll work closely with and be supported by your Campaign Project Manager, Project Officer/s reporting to you within the Project team structure, our Campaigns, Communications and Safety teams, our processes and procedures, and the wider CVA staff community. You will coordinate your project tasks and support the Project Officer who reports to you, and will be accountable to your Campaign Project Manager for the quality and timeliness of your work and for the work of your Project Officer/s.
Like all Campaign project roles with CVA, your role has two important aspects to it. Firstly, you will find and use opportunities presented by your project to connect people with nature in ways that take account of their situation, availability and ability. Your enthusiasm for your work and your understanding of how it contributes to CVA’s larger purpose will be transmitted to people through your real world and online interactions with them. Secondly, you will work to schedule and complete planned tasks, making practical contributions to achieving the conservation and engagement goals of your project, and through those tasks, the objectives of your Campaign.
