Position Overview
As an Analyst, Services Business Development, you will be responsible for supporting Invenergy’s new third party services Business Development team in its efforts to develop new and existing customer relationships and lead RFP responses, resulting in the operations and performance of other services for new and existing clean energy projects. The role would be an ideal growth opportunity for an ambitious self-starter looking to help fuel the growth of one of the most dynamic and entrepreneurial companies in the industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and ensure timely delivery of high quality proposals in response to requests for proposals (“RFPs”) from customers including utilities and other financial asset owners.
- Prepare RFP summaries for distribution to management.
- Coordinate with Operations, Asset Management, Origination, Engineering and other departments in order to prepare for proposals and meetings with customers.
- Support the development of marketing strategies and deploy campaigns through new content creation.
- Prepare, distribute and on occasion present material prior to customer meetings.
- Ensure RFP summaries, proposal and pricing information are entered into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Maintain comprehensive records of submitted proposals and pricing models.
- Perform operations and maintenance market research and analysis.
- Support business development efforts in the U.S. as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Educational concentration in business, economics, or engineering
- Knowledge of wind, solar, natural gas, and energy storage power systems
- Knowledge of the electric utility industry and electric energy markets
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Outstanding problem solving, strategic thinking, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work self-sufficiently and as a team member
- Demonstrated ability to perform under significant time and pressure conditions
- Experience with CRM and Power B
