Responsible for one or more phases of EV Battery and Warehouse production operations to ensure goals are met safely and efficiently. Responsible for monitoring inbound and outbound material and inventory control, which includes oversight of special recycling programs and all high-voltage battery activity. Ensure that operations are completed both safely and environmentally compliant, while effectively and efficiently working within the guidelines of the administrative policies and procedures. Assist the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Production Manager, and other project personnel as requested.
Salary Range: $29/hr - $33/hr
Essential Functions:
- Supervisory experience and ability to hold self and team accountable to Company policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Prepare and complete shipments for delivery or pickup which includes loading, unloading, creating labels and shipping.
- Perform Core Center inventory controls to include unloading, weighing, cataloging, and storing.
- Improve the quality of shipments by inspecting products and collaborating with store personnel as needed.
- Ensure the Core Center is adhering to all safety and environmental policies and procedures by partnering with the Environmental, Health and Safety Team and learning and adhering to requirements.
- Responsible for Core Center housekeeping.
- Responsible for the proper care and maintenance of all Core Center equipment, reporting equipment problems, and adherence to the preventative maintenance program.
- Work with shipping documents and other documentation including excel spreadsheets to confirm accuracy.
- Conduct service functions and interactions (vendors, customers, other PNP employees) as needed. Relate, collaborate, conduct business, and engage professionally, to place orders, resolve issues, order product, arrange transportation, etc.
- Ensure operations follow all applicable laws and regulations by partnering with internal support resources to learn and adhere to requirements.
- Perform administrative and logistics functions including, but not limited to: forecasting, coordinating transportation, drayage logistics, VGM reporting, proper export shipment documentation, supplies ordering & management supporting all 20 CA stores, Oracle, OHM management, staffing schedules. Etc.
- Achieve results, goals, KPI’s and maintain performance standards and expectations set forth by Operations Executives.
- Ability to become certified on required equipment and approved to operate all PNP equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions:
- Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and stretching are required in warehouse conditions for extended periods during the day.
- Manual dexterity to handle tools and the ability to move 50 pounds.
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and stoop frequently.
- Vision must be sufficient to perform job functions safely.
- Must be able to wear and use all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position will manage/direct the selection, training, development, appraisal and work assignments of non-exempt hourly employees. This position will supervise, train and assign the work of a non-exempt team. And, will assist in the selection, development and appraisal of the team in collaboration with the site manager.
Job Conditions:

Qualifications:
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent; prefer some college coursework or vocational certificate.
- Experience with high voltage including electric vehicle handling and diagnostics required. ASE certified with a focus on ASE xEV High-Voltage Electrical Safety preferred.
- Must have previous 1-2 years of experience in inventory controls processes.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, root cause analysis, and SMART action planning.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to write sufficiently to document processes and procedures.
- Able to handle multiple competing tasks and priorities and perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products with intermediate level Excel skills.
- Able to work required hours which may include weekends and holidays as assigned by management.
- A team player who collaborates well with others.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
