To support the quick development of Vestas Iin France, the HSE department is creating a Service HSE Coordinator position for the Atlantic or Vienne region.
In this mission, your autonomy and your inclination to work on the field will be key success factors to direct service technicians, in your region, into risk prevention and make them promoters of a zero accident culture.

Responsabilities
Working with the France HSE Manager, you will focus on the O&M part of the activity (maintenance and troubleshooting on wind turbines). You will support interventions in wind turbines on all wind farms in your region. You will endeavour to:
- Proceed to visits and audits in wind turbines (60% of the time),
- Support the 2 Area Supervisors and the Lead Technicians in their safety leadership : encourage feedback from operations, process deviations, lead corrective and preventive action, safety communication,
- Coordinate some actions for the France HSE roadmap,
- Coordinate compliance to regulatory and group requirements in your region,
- Ensure the risks are properly assessed and managed in your region: workplace risk assessment, clients’ prevention plans, etc.
Skills
You will support the achievement of the group’s established goals on Safety. To the end, you will :
- Act as a Safety leader,
- Promote a behavioural change among operational people,
- Bring in an operational environment your natural process-oriented mindset,
- Use your interpersonal and communication skills (writing and speaking),
- Be fully autonomous in planning your activity and prioritising your tasks (daily site visits, overnights away from home to be considered.
Qualification
- You must own a valid driver license (daily visits across the region).
- Own a Master’s degree in Health, Safety, Environment or in a science,
- Have a first significant job experience in industry (energy, mechanical, chemical…)
- Are used to working in ISO 14001/45001 certified environments and you have performed or been the subject of audits against these standards,
- Are fluent in French and English
