APAC Regional Procurement Organization (RPO) is responsible for implementing the spend for countries such as India, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand , China ,Taiwan, Japan, South Korea etc with external suppliers.
With a matrix organization, with global and regional roles, the RPO ensures the deployment of common strategy and processes with same overall outcomes across all Vestas regions.
We assist our Service business to deliver solutions safely, on time, in budget, with the right quality by providing supplier selection for all spend categories.
You will report to the Lead manager of Service solutions Procurement with cross geography responsibility.

Responsibilities
- Candidate should be responsible for hiring crane services, Manpower Services, Transportation services for wind energy project during servicing phase.
- Candidate should have Offshore/ wind turbine project knowledge and shall be responsible for all service support procurement.
- Candidate shall be responsible for RFQ process, establish supplier selection criteria, evaluate alternative suppliers and facilitate final supplier selection in partnership with internal stake holders.
- Candidate shall be responsible for Quote comparison preparation, Invent negotiation strategies, implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies.
- Candidate shall be responsible for supplier agreements (e.g. NDA, purchasing agreements and price agreements)
- Candidate shall be responsible for write/Alter complex documents such as Letters of Authorization (LOA) , Letters of Intent, Contracts
- Keep track of cost out initiatives and generate management report.
- Adhere to sourcing processes in accordance with global processes and standards.
- Execute risk assessments of suppliers, using the standard risk tools.
- Follow-up with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering with 8-10 years of
- Sourcing/Procurement experience
- Proven work experience as a sourcing /Procurement Engineer.
- Understanding of wind market dynamics and sound business judgment.
Language and other reuirements
- Business Japanese language skill with business level English.
- Currently withholds Japanese work permit.
Competencies
- Ability to negotiate and finalize high value contracts.
- Expert in figures including collecting,analyzing and interpreting data.
- Solid judgment with ability to make good decisions.
- Expertise in preparing Power point Presentations.
- Good English communication skill
