Tire Handler/Grader
 
K & S is looking for reliable, motivated Tire Handlers to join our warehouse team. This position will help ensure goals are met safely and efficiently while conforming to all company policies.  K&S offers performance incentives, and competitive compensation.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manually load and unload onto and off of trucks and/or conveyer belt
  • Evaluate tires for suitability for retail/resell to the public
  • Lift and manually stack tires into trucks, trailers, or the warehouse
  • Lift, bend, squat 25 - 50 pounds throughout the day
  • Utilize proper tire stacking procedures to ensure tires are stacked in a safe, secure and stable manner.
  • Properly sort tires before loading or unloading under the direction of the General Manager
  • Utilize appropriate knowledge of tires and tire safety
  •  Accurately provide tire counts
  •  Pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information
  • Effectively communicate with supervisors and co-workers concerning any incoming or outgoing issues
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of work area and warehouse.
  • Adheres to all corporate and site specific policies/procedures, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse for our customers to safely access a wide selection of tires.
