Titan Solar Power is currently seeking an experienced and driven Solar Lead installer to Join our team.
The role of the Branch Field Operations Manager is to oversee all solar (and accessory) field operations within the local branch level. Being a Field Operations Manager ensures that the Company is meeting and adhering to state regulations, industry standards, safety protocols, production targets, and quality standards.

Maintain the Titan Solar Power standards of safety, quality, and production on the job site.

Oversee and/or participate in daily and weekly meetings for departmental and interdepartmental coordination.

Manage Branch, Field Supervisors and support employees for all solar-related activities to ensure compliance with Titan Solar Power and OSHA standards.

Monitor labor costs to ensure they are consistent with Titan’s targets, identify labor cost overruns and implement strategies, training, and protocols to fix issues causing the overruns.

Coordinate with the Safety Manager to ensure Field Supervisors are properly training their teams and complying with safety laws.

Coordinate with Fleet Managers to ensure Field Supervisors and Field Employees are properly maintaining their fleet.

Develop, maintain, and enforce policy and procedures.

Assist with large project development.

Directly oversee critical projects and supervise large installation sites as necessary.

Read, understand, and be intimately familiar with the Titan Solar Power Company Employee Handbook.

Review all accident/incident reports and complete investigations.

Communicate information accurately, efficiently, and positively.

Ensure proper planning and coordination of all solar operations to ensure conformity to codes, plans, solar industry standards, manufacturer’s instructions, and Titan Solar Power guidelines.

Review details of individual projects and assist in finding solutions to issues presented with direct communication through CRM.

Assist with the recruitment, training, hiring, and disciplinary action of all staff members under your direct and indirect supervision.

Identify means to reduce costs, minimize risks, or increase efficiency of projects.

Monitor work to ensure projects conform to plans, specifications, schedules, and budgets; evaluate for quality, cost, and reliability.

Purchase or rent equipment for projects.
-
Assess potential installation sites to determine feasibility, project needs and design requirements.

Document customer interactions and maintain records of all calls, e-mails, conversations, and other forms of communication relating to projects.

Work with confidential information and understand the critical nature of privacy.

Work well under pressure and deadlines.

Work well with a variety of software packages across multiple computing platforms.

Have flexible availability based on ongoing work/task needs change.

Performs other related duties as assigned

High school diploma or equivalent
-
4 years’ experience in Solar PV Install
-
Journeyman Electrician Highly Preferred
-
Management, Operations: 5 years experience
-
Demonstrated ability in managing projects: installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Previous experience working with supplier, partner, client, or customers in an operational capacity
-
Management of crews, equipment, material, projects, and schedules.

Knowledge of electricity, voltage and current relationships for both AC and DC circuits.

Ability to read one-line drawings

Valid Driver's License and ability to be insured by Company (driving company vehicle or machinery, Liability Insurance for License if Electrician)OSHA 30 Required within 30 days of hire

Master Electrician Preferred

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
