· Pro-actively work with customers on early identification of sales opportunities, helping customer increasing the wind farm operation efficiency and energy availability, drive key offers such as service contract,value engineering
· Build strategy account plan, maximizing total customer share of wallet and be customer expert
· Act as one point of contact of all service activities and ensure cross-functional selling in coming up with competitive solutions and offerings (e.g. commercial, legal, technical and service teams)
· Secure orders for UL in accordance with company guidelines and business compliance
· Represent the company in a professional manner toward current and potential clients parties involved in wind power service business in China
· Provide input and monthly updates to management and commercial department on account service pipeline for budgeting and forecasting
· Collect information on the wind farm service market, operation related data, competitor intelligence ad provide feedback supporting company in adjusting to these changing market conditions
· Identify prospective new customers and work with service area leads to establish positive business relationships with them. Hand off relationships to service areas when appropriate;
· Represent company at tradeshows, technical conferences and workshops, and business development meetings, as needed;
· Manage key accounts as assigned;
· Support development of a network of local service providers and partners;
· Identify prospective new markets (geographies / products) within the sub-region; define business cases to exploit them. Act as a champion within the organization and work to ensure a successful launch;
· Collaborate with counterparts within the region to identify and exploit synergies;
· Help service area leads maintain positive customer relationships and secure sales within the sub-region. Provide support to service area leads and staff in writing successful proposals that meet client needs and result in profitable and successful projects;
· Acquire, analyze, and disseminate market intelligence;
· Follow “best practices” within the region in terms of commercial activities: communication with customers, meetings, quoting process, conferences, trade shows, etc.
· Coordinate and execute with the marketing team and the service area leads to develop, update, and customize sub-regional activities and collaterals: presentation, brochures, leaflets, webinars, targeted marketing activities, local tradeshows organisation, etc.
· Requires frequent travels to customers meetings and regional offices to support local staff and business development as needed (30% - 40% travel).
