(Senior) Associate - Structured Finance, Renewable Energy (m/f/d)

Pacifico Energy Partners GmbH (“Pacifico”) is a renewable energy company for wind and solar energy as well as battery and hydrogen technologies. We develop greenfield projects, repower existing plants, provide state-of-the-art asset management services and facilitate the acquisition of operational and turn-key plants.

We are looking for a (Senior) Associate to become a key player in our Structured Finance team, taking part in the structuring and raising of external financing (equity and debt) needed for developing and constructing renewable assets (wind, solar, batteries, hydrogen). In addition, our day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining financial models and supporting Pacifico’s Development team in ensuring bankability of the projects (e.g., support in running due diligence processes, structuring key project contracts etc.).

Your Tasks

Capital raising I You contribute to fuelling Pacifico’s growth (2GWh+ pipeline) by supporting debt and equity raising processes from inception to closing, including creating tailored pitchbooks, investment memos and related materials. Moreover, you analyse loan offers from banks and financial investors and assist with loan negotiation, structuring of legal documentation, due diligence and other ad-hoc topics.

Financial Modelling I You are responsible for building, developing, and maintaining complex financial models for the company’s acquisitions and development projects. This includes spearheading the modelling of emerging technologies such as battery storage (and hydrogen).

Investment strategist I You screen and research potential investors, lenders, and capital providers in the market. Moreover, you contribute to our strategic growth by cultivating key relationships and staying up to date with market dynamics.

Team player I You work in tandem with senior members of the Structured Finance team and coordinate with our Project and Business Development teams to shape and execute Pacifico’s strategy.

Your Profile

Completed Degree I You have a Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Engineering or Science) with an impeccable academic track record from a leading university.

Working Experience I You have a minimum of 1- 3 years of relevant work experience preferably in banking, private equity, M&A, tier-one consulting firm, renewable energy advisory or similar. Solid financial modelling skills are of advantage.

Communication Skills I With your strong negotiation and communication skills, it is easy for you to approach different stakeholders fluently and confidently in both German and English.

Entrepreneurial Mindset I You are highly motivated to contribute to the promotion of the energy transition and work in a structured and solution-focused way. Moreover, you think analytically, have strong attention to detail and can work independently.

Passion for renewable energy I You have a genuine passion for renewable energy, driving commitment and enthusiasm in contributing to sustainable solutions.
