Job Description

An experienced Field Solar PV Engineer that ensures the proper execution of solar photovoltaic installations (commercial and industrial). The Field Solar PV Engineer will be responsible for overseeing installations, conducting engineering reviews, and contractor quality control.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough supervision of solar photovoltaic installation contractors' work (testing, inspection, quality assurance, quality control, commissioning).

  • Conduct design and engineering reviews of commercial and industrial solar photovoltaic installations.

  • Plan and coordinate material delivery for installations to ensure complete and timely arrival.

  • Create and manage inventory of materials needed for installations.

  • Negotiate, select, and manage contractors and suppliers for installations.

  • Perform other activities required by the company.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in supervision, inspection, quality control, and commissioning of commercial and industrial solar photovoltaic installations.

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical-electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.

  • Advanced English proficiency (speaking, listening, reading, writing).

  • Willingness to travel frequently.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Strong leadership and management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong skills in designing and interpreting commercial and industrial solar photovoltaic installation plans.

  • Experience in project scheduling and resource management.

  • Knowledge of applicable safety, health, environmental regulations, and technical codes.

  • Extensive experience in working with AutoCAD and Helioscope.

  • Nice to have: Certifications such as NABCEP, EC0586, LEED, PMP, etc.
