The Test Engineering Technician is responsible for helping us achieve streamlined, high throughput test capability at our new, state-of-the-art test facility in St. Albans, VT. As a Test Engineering Technician on the Battery team at Beta Technologies, you will use your hands-on technical aptitude to set up, execute, clean up, and document a variety of tests on anything from individual battery cells up to high-voltage battery packs. Test categories span a variety of areas, such as electrical and thermal performance testing, shock and vibration testing, environmental testing, or destructive safety testing. Test Engineering Technician duties include not just the setup and testing of battery system assemblies and components, but also the routine maintenance and troubleshooting of test equipment. An ideal candidate has great attention to detail when following a defined test plan, but also a good dose of creativity when working with the team on how to execute new and interesting development tests and the drive and motivation to see things through to completion no matter the challenge.
