- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years Underwriting experience. Experience in High Hazard underwriting or engineering is a benefit.
- Demonstrated track record of a strong risk selection process, exposure analysis, program structure & line setting, policy terms & conditions, pricing, underwriting guidelines and a good understanding of how to lead a profitable book of business effectively.
- Excellent understanding of FM Global's internal underwriting systems, applications, processes, requirements and authority management.
- Strong skills in verbal and written communication, planning and organizing, analysis, judgment, decision-making, problem solving, interpersonal relations, and influence.
- Curious and driven to learn about new technologies, market practices, and trends.
