Position Specific Description
NextEra Energy is seeking a technical individual to be part of the FPL Power Generation team.
This position will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the large scale universal solar and or battery facilities inside the state of Florida. This position will report to the Solar & Storage FL Panhandle Engineering Leader, under the Power Generation Team, and will work out of the Florida Panhandle Region.
Engineer should be highly motivated with a strong bias for action and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering highly preferred. Previous PV solar and Battery experience preferred.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
- Devises new solutions to problems encountered
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
