Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated, hardworking and dynamic individual who can join Recycling Services of Florida as a Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee our extensive fleet of trucks and heavy equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead, direct and assign employees in the completion of their responsibilities
· Set priorities, assign work to appropriate personnel, and set schedules for completion of work
· Manage fleet budgeting and cost controls as well as monitor paperwork for accuracy and compliance for internal and external work
· Train personnel in correct and safe operating procedures
· Implement and enforce policies and procedures for fleet maintenance
· Interact with operations to establish maintenance priorities and future equipment needs
· Maintain a parts inventory in an organized and cost effective manner. Lead the Fleet Shop in Safety D.O.T. Regulation Compliance
· Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, regulator, and organizational policies and procedures
· Assist with evaluating vehicles and equipment for usage and cost to determine fit with operation needs
Qualifications and Education:
· 5 years of related supervisory experience
· A Valid Class A CDL preferred
· Extensive knowledge of roll off, rear load and front load trucks
· Must be highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks, and meet varying deadlines
Work Environment:
Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise or similar elements most of the workday.
