A Day In The Life As a Commercial Solar Advisor:
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with commercial property decision-makers, leveraging a deep understanding of their business needs, including financial considerations, i.e., ROI, Initial Capital Cost and Financing Options, Tax Incentives and Credits, Cash Flow Implications, Cost of Capital, Energy Price Escalation, Risk Mitigation, Long-term Financial Planning, etc...
- Proposal Development: Create and present proposals using our template, emphasizing our solar solutions and their financial benefits, like ROI and tax advantages.
- Sales Target Achievement: Secure at least 8 major sales in the first year, aligning our solar solutions with clients' financial goals and energy needs.
- Strategic Engagement with Partners: Work with alliance partners to identify mutually beneficial opportunities, targeting at least 3 alliance-driven sales in the first year.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with design and project teams to align project financials with client expectations and company objectives.
- Client Follow-Up: Conduct proactive follow-ups, using your financial insight to ensure client satisfaction and open up further opportunities.
- Lead Management: Manage and develop leads, focusing on their financial viability.
- Record Maintenance: Keep accurate records in our CRM and Project Management Systems, noting the financial aspects of each client interaction.
What We Are Looking For:
A trailblazer with (a/n):
- 3-5 years of experience successfully selling value-based services, preferably to commercial property owners or non-profit organizations
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, ideally within a B2B service industry
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of solar incentives, regulatory and tax information, and financing options
- Ability to work independently, autonomously, and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Track record of identifying business opportunities and nurturing long-term relationships
- Respectful and supportive attitude towards staff, co-workers, and management
