Key Responsibilities
As Commercial Head of Americas at Maersk Offshore Wind, you will be working with other members of our Commercial team in our HQ in Copenhagen and reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer. Travelling will be required primarily within your region. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Manage and build pipeline within the Americas region and support our European region when required
- Lead and manage all commercial aspects of bids and opportunities in the Americas region
- Be our commercial representative and responsible for relationship building and development with customers and relevant stakeholders in the Americas region
- Develop, update and execute our regional sales and marketing strategy
- Be accountable for establishing business case recommendations for bidding and negotiation strategy
Who you are

- Minimum 5 years of experience and in-depth knowledge from a commercial role in the offshore wind industry. Concrete experience from turbine T&I projects is an advantage.
- Proven track record for tendering and negotiating large and complex installation contracts within the offshore and/or the maritime sector
- You are a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and the drive to develop and execute complex transactions of significant value
- You have strong negotiations skills and experience from an international business environment
- You have a strong drive and can work autonomously with a desire to achieve goals as well as a collaborative personality who effectively works with teams and individuals to achieve organizational business outcomes
- You have a proven track record of building, developing and maintaining close customer relationships
- You are fluent in written and spoken English
