Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Solar Consultant - Sales to join our team at Surayay Namah Energy Private Limited. As a Solar Consultant, you will be responsible for generating sales leads, providing solar energy solutions to customers, and closing sales deals. This is a full-time position based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and a passion for renewable energy.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Knowledge of solar energy systems and the ability to explain their benefits
- Familiarity with local regulations and incentives related to solar energy
- Self-motivated and result-oriented
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to industry changes
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Generate sales leads through various methods such as cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Educate customers about the benefits of solar energy and provide customized solar energy solutions based on their needs
- Conduct site visits to assess solar feasibility, collect relevant data, and provide accurate quotes
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the advantages of going solar
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitors' offerings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring excellent customer service
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless project execution
- Provide after-sales support and assistance to customers, addressing any concerns or issues
- Contribute to team meetings, sharing insights, and working towards achieving team goals
