Alphablocks is a growing media and educational brand, predominantly known for its award-winning shows Alphablocks and Numberblocks. With recent 'Blocks' shows Colourblocks and Wonderblocks now added to the roster, and with both digital, merchandise and licensing growing around the world, we are looking for a highly organised person to support both the Editorial and Brand teams with the day-to-day coordination of running this busy team.
The Editorial Coordinator should be enthusiastic, willing to learn, and possess very strong communication skills, as well as a flair for organisation and a passion for editorial work. You will undertake unique, daily challenges that arise from working on a variety of projects for our beloved Blocks Brands.
As core support to the Approvals and Brand teams, you will liaise with internal and external partners to ensure they have access to the necessary resources and can obtain any required files. You will also be responsible for the filing system, ensuring that it is up to date and organised.
You would need to be an excellent communicator, organised, able to use your initiative and generally make yourself indispensable in this fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Day to Day:

Be responsible for the Project Status update document, updating and editing as projects move forward, liaising with the team to gain information required.

Set and monitor the Asana task-based system for the team, ensuring reasonable deadlines are set and met.

Take ownership of the filing system on Google Drive and our Digital Asset Management System, ensuring it is accurate, up to date and named properly. This will also involve close liaison with Blue Zoo Licensing and Blue Zoo Production.

Liaise with Production on series assets and any ad hoc asset requests we or any internal or external stakeholders may have.

Be the point of contact for any incoming production information and ensure that this is filed in the correct place. This could include assets, synopses, music cue sheets, and foreign language translations and dubs.

Ensure all metadata is entered into relevant spreadsheets as and when required.

Be responsible for the audio requirements for audio products, including liaising with Legal representatives to iron out copyright issues.

Provide general editorial and administrative support to the team.
