Summary
The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period for Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area is June through October but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Major Duties
This position is located in Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, in the Interpretation and Education Division. Major Duties: Collect appropriate fees at park entrance station, visitor center, campground, and other visitor contact stations following established accountability guidelines for handling government funds. Safeguard funds collected. Present informational talks, guided tours, and demonstrations following a prescribed outline to various audiences to inform or educate. Respond verbally to visitor inquiries for information, direction, and guidance. Provide direction to, information on, and orientation regarding services or activities of interest to the public. Serve as the front-line representative to greet customers and answer questions.
