Are you experienced BESS Commissioning Engineer? With working knowledge of battery systems, power conversion systems specialising in BESS,PCS and PPC seeking a challenge?
If so, we are seeking a experienced BESS Commissioning Engineer, to join our clients team. In this role, you'll be a key player in the different phases of the project commissioning, testing and validation.
BESS Commissioning Engineer
Essential Requirements / Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering
- 2+ years of experience years of experience in electrical utility scale commissioning or O&M activities
- Working knowledge of battery systems, power conversion systems (BESS,PCS and PPC)
- Commissioning/construction experience is a must (Bess is a good additional)
- Fluency in business and technical English

Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

BESS Commissioning Engineer
The Role:
- Lead the commissioning process for battery energy storage systems from start to finish.
- You will Conduct comprehensive tests on battery energy storage systems, and verify their functionality, performance, and safety.
- Liaise with internal teams to prepare accurate costing and financial analysis for tender submission.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during the commissioning process. Collaborate with customers and commercial teams to negotiate and finalise contracts.
- Provide training to operation and maintenance teams on the functioning and maintenance of the commissioned energy storage systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, construction teams, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate a smooth commissioning process.
