DescriptionThe Environmental Construction Department at LaBella provides Environmental Remediation, Environmental and Geotechnical Drilling, and Ecological Restoration services. We are currently seeking an intern to join our Buffalo Remediation team.
Duties:
The chosen candidate will provide support to our remediation team and will be given a number of opportunities to gain practical knowledge and experience in the environmental construction field. The intern will have the opportunity to work closely with various team members to explore many different facets of environmental construction. A successful candidate will be self- motivated with the willingness to learn, train, and continue building their knowledge through working in the construction industry.
Requirements• Valid New York State driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk all day over rough terrain
• Ability to travel regularly
• 40 Hr. HAZWOPER certification is preferred
Salary Range: $16 - $20
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
