DescriptionBe an integral part of the fast-paced geo-environmental team, working with the team to deliver a vast array of projects
Responsibilities- Contribute to the Geo-environmental Design team to help deliver high profile, complex and challenging projects related to geo-environmental engineering, waste management, mining, water, site transition and other multidisciplinary engineering works throughout Victoria and interstate.
- Develop technical documents (e.g., reports, specifications, drawings) for key clients throughout various project execution phases (concept, pre-feasibility, feasibility, detailed design, construction, operation, and decommissioning);
- Contributing to the technical delivery of our projects, incorporating resource, financial management, risk management and quality management in accordance with the requirements of the business.
- Strong project management skills with evidence of managing projects to WSP PM Level 1 as a minimum
- Providing technical direction and mentorship to junior staff;
- Coordination of contract management, including suppliers and sub-contractors;
- Preparing proposals and reports for clients to a high standard, adhering to our approved review requirements
- Assist with project planning and preparation of technical deliverables.
- Comply with all role specific SHEQ obligations.

- Proven ability to use a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques in problem solving.

Qualifications- Master Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent.
Experience, skills and organisational knowledge
- 5-10 years of experience in geotechnical/civil system design and specification with preference for experience in landfills, ponds and containment system.
- Motivated about learning and working in new fields and open to challenges working with new materials and approaches.
- Willingness to learn, with ability to work and develop autonomously based on limited long-distance support.
- Innovative and resourceful with high sense of ownership and achieving outcome.
