As an Environmental Scientist or Technologist, in our Swift Current office, you’ll be responsible for assisting multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals.
The compensation range for this role is $26.00 to $37.00 commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location
To thrive in this role,you’llbe comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:
Lead and assist with simple to moderately complex contaminated site field investigations or reclamation projects
Act as a leader in the workplace using Our Standard Operating Safety and Technical Procedures
Supervise sub-contractors
Initial interpretation of field data to make field-related decisions
Work with senior technical advisors to ensure high quality products that meet our clients’ unique project needs
Communicate and liaise with clients and project related stakeholders
Manage project related timelines and budgets
Preparation of technical correspondence, proposals, work plans, cost estimates, and summary reports

Experience managing assessment, reclamation, remediation and monitoring projects for Oil and Gas clients within a consulting environment would be considered an asset
A degree or technical diploma in environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, reclamation or engineering
Eligibility for registration in or maintaining a good standing in a professional organization
Self-motivated and possess strong communication skills (verbal and written)
A strong knowledge of Saskatchewan regulatory framework
Experience writing technical reports
A valid and clean driver’s license with no restrictions.
