A fast-growing and innovative solar solutions provider is looking for a commercially driven BusinessDevelopment Manager to expand their footprint in Johannesburg North.
This role is suited to a strategic sales professional who understands the renewable energy space and can drive business development across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and delivering tailored solar solutions.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering
- Renewable Energy / Solar certifications (advantageous)
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- 3–7 years’ experience in solar or renewable energy sales
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, and energy solutions
- Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets
- Ability to identify and develop new markets and opportunities
- Experience engaging with commercial and industrial clients
- Strong financial and commercial acumen (ROI discussions, cost-saving models)
- Ability to conduct site assessments and propose tailored solutions
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Self-driven with strong pipeline management ability
