About This Role:
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Senior Staff Electrical Engineer (Substation) to support the electrical scope of projects for our Power systems. This critical role will drive project execution, ensuring all electrical systems meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, execute within project timelines and budgets, and contribute to the successful deployment of cutting-edge technology solutions.

What You’ll Be Working On:
Project Planning & Execution Support: Support the development and execution of comprehensive project plans, including technical design and material specifications. Ensure absolute alignment between project budgets and critical-path schedules.
Electrical System Design & Engineering: Contribute to the design and specification of electrical systems for large-scale power projects. This includes power generation equipment, transformers, and the full spectrum of low, medium, and high-voltage cabling and wiring.
Technical Documentation: Develop and review high-fidelity technical documentation, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure "production-ready" designs.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with relevant safety standards, local/national codes, and global regulations.
Procurement Management: Manage the end-to-end procurement of specialized electrical equipment, working closely with vendors to ensure quality and lead-time requirements are met.
Installation & Commissioning Oversight: Oversee the physical installation and commissioning of electrical systems at field locations, both domestically and internationally, ensuring systems are "live" and operational per specifications.
Stakeholder Communication: Contribute to regular project status meetings and provide clear, effective technical communication to cross-functional stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Industry Experience: Proven experience in industrial environments, with a preference for experience in power generation and distribution.
Technical Expertise: Electrical Engineering Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including power systems, control systems, and electrical safety standards.
Equipment Expertise: Experience with electrical equipment design, procurement, and installation.
Industry Standards: Familiarity with relevant industry codes and regulations (e.g., NEC).
Team Participation: Proven ability to be a contributing member in a high performing team
Analytical & Organizational Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Travel Flexibility: Flexibility to travel to field locations up to 25%, or as required.

Compensation:
Salary will be paid in the range of $179,000 - $205,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
