Position Description:
As the National Sales Manager for Multifamily builders, you will prospect for high potential builders in new markets by networking, lead follow-up, cold calling, advertising, or other means of generating interest from potential clients. To be successful as a National Sales Rep you should be an driven self-starter who is able to build rapport with customers, close sales and ultimately, drive sales growth.
Responsibilities include:
Meet sales projections, generate ongoing sales opportunities, and achieve company and individual KPI goals.
Prospect for new business
Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities.
Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
Building business relationships with current and potential clients.
Attending industry tradeshows and product demonstrations.
Maintaining information in Salesforce of all prospective client information.
Meeting all quotas for all activities (cold, active, inactive calls, presentations, appointments, interviews, etc…).
Maintaining a pipeline of all sales activities using Salesforce software.
Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting.
Become a subject matter expert on our products, processes, and operations.
Gain a thorough understanding of the construction industry, building science and remain up to date on industry education and news.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Management, Communication or Liberal Arts preferred
Minimum of 3 years with demonstrated success in sales/business development.
Construction Industry experience a plus
Self-motivated and self-directed
Experience with lead generation and prospect management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers.
The ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge.
A desire for continuous learning.
